Let it be known that Flyone, having sworn that he has kissed the Cod, downed the Screech, and shouted "Long may your big jib draw!" is now considered an Honarary Newfoundlander.

Ummmm....

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms likely after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. Windy, with a south wind 29 to 32 mph becoming north northwest 17 to 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

I will check again as the evening progresses and again in the early morn. If the prognosis doenst improve, count the skinny white guy out. I have little need to relive the horrors, OH THE HORRORS, of the Memorial day ride.....

Just watched the weather report and they are not calling for the storms to hit until after 4pm now.  Of course, I don't know what station you are listening to compared to which one I am listening to.  They never seem to agree and vary rarely do any of them get it right.

As of 9:58 pm......(local on the 8's on the Weather Channel).....Windy with scattered T-Storms late in the day, KSN is reporting rain around 5pm with a flood watch for the evening.

As of right now, it looks like the T-storms are going to hold off until later in the day and the wind??? Well hey, that's Kansas! We're used to that...........I don't know about doing a ride afterwards but that is you folks' call as I will have to come back to Wichita anyway and you folks are grown!

I will have a another friend of mine coming with us. His name is Tony and he rides a Triumph. He also owns a 1100 as well.:grinner:

I am wondering who is going to eat the full order of B&G's!!!!! :cooldevil::baffled:

Home after Debbie's work function and thought I should post. What a great time today! :clapper:

I don't know if anybody counted heads but there were a lot there!! We filled a room!!!

163.5 miles on the clock.........The wind was wicked, and had a very close call with a deer!

No damage or anything like that but it did scare the crap out of me!!! It just gave me a friendly reminder to keep alert out there! :gunhead:

Becareful out there and we forgot to count up all the rides..............I will get up with Patch and figure out the number.

I cannot believe Patch ate a whole order of B&G's  He's a real python!!:cheeky1::cheeky1::cheeky1:

I will get the pictures posted in a few............................

Thanks to all for a great time!!!!

I had a head count of 21 and I hope that was everyone.   231 miles on the clock for me as we took the senic route home south from Fredonia and 160 across through Elk Falls, Caimbridge, Burden.....  We even stopped and saw a waterfall in Elk Falls on our way back.  Who would have thunk of a waterfall being in Kansas but it is there.  I have seen it and have photos of it.

Hey, like my new avitar?   I ready for a return trip to Fredonia. ;)

Avitar looks waaay better....Patch is ready for a return trip already??

We got back [dry] before 2pm & I conked-out from that plate of B&G by 2:30.....I'm done eating for a couple days.  245 miles made a nice day ride.  Big wind on the way home...rode at an angle half the time...but it kept me awake.

Storm whacked our line & knocked out the electricity until just a few mins ago.

Good ride, good food, good folks, good times.....but, next Fredonia is just eggs & bacon for me.  I thought it was great the way Family members were joining in.

edit:

WHOA!  Patch's Prize wasn't posted when I was typin'...NOW I understand his return trip. :)
