Mine is a story, back in 74 when I had a chopper, hardtail. :cooldevil:I rode with a group of, well riders, twenty-two of us. One was named Turkey, another Devil Rider, another, Lil Gent....well you get the idea (we were not outlaws). We were on a run to Kernville to spend the weekend. Someone that night said I looked like a spider riding my chopper.:cheeky1: After that it stuck. I even had a spider painted on my coffin tank. So it is actually Spider, but it was taken when I found this forum so I just went with SpiderBob:action:

Well, mine is a simplified spelling of countryboy and the 1289 is when I began working at the fire station, Decemeber of 1989, so shortened to 1289. Way back when, I signed up for the internet and that was my very first email address and I have had it since 1999, have always used it as all of my forum names.

Mine comes from my online gaming days. Real name Bill, my buddy that got me hooked on online gaming called me "bull" as a nickname for years. "bull" was taken most everywhere I went. Did "da bull" but the first generation of the game wouldnt take spaces, so I added the underscore, hence da_bull, and it has always stuck. So far, I havent found a forum etc. that its been taken.

I do a lot of leather work and pound on dead bovine hide. Carve lots of very nice floral and oak leave patterns. Build just about anything out of leather. Wallets to Saddles and everything else in between. Check out my work on my web site, (is this okay?) http://www.Cornelius-Saddlery.com

Geordie - people from the area adjacent to Newcastle upon Tyne are known as Geordies.

Muppet - slang term for the highly skilled and proffesional group of people otherwise known as the Minewarfare Branch of Her Majesty's Royal Navy.

I'm a drummer and I used to use drumman1952, still do on some forums, and changed it to ddrumman after a while for some reason. Did that back in 2004.

Having a full head of hair that decided to grow inwards makes up the first part.  Being born and brought up in Liverpool explains the second part.

Real short version of my nickname....Navy flight school Pensacola, Florida 1961....I and my instructor pulled a stunt on another instructor and his student, made that instructor mad enough to give this foaming at the mouth  speech at debriefing, about the "Red Baron", How the real "Red Baron" was a coward...... yada yada yada......Threatened to whoop that student and instructors fannies if he found out who it was.....

Next morning went to my locker to get my flight gear....On my helmet and on my plane was "Red Baron 57"....The 57 was my plane number....Yeah grumpy saw that and it took 4 guys to hold him off of us...He got grounded, and sent home two weeks later......He was a nut case looking for a place to come unglued.....I went on to finish flight  school and that "Red Baron 57 stuck no matter where I went.....the only thing I added to it for my email addy was the year I got my very own computer.....

Claude.....

I am a proud great-grandson of Cornish hard rock miners.  After the mining industry fell on hard times in Cornwall in the 1850's, Cornish miners emigrated out all over the world.  They were renowned for their courage, their work ethic, and for their professional mining skills.  Cornishmen in America, Canada, and Australia were the backbone of the mining industry in those new countries, and were referred to as "Cousin Jacks" because every Cornishmen remaining in the old country had a "Cousin Jack" working somewhere abroad.   The wives and daughters of the emigrants were "Cousin Jennies" for the same reason.  I'm  proud of my user name; I'm proud of my ancestors.  May they rest in peace.
